Our Story
The farm is home to our beautiful daughter Kathryn, our Golden Retriever, Marilyn, and our Moyen Poodle, Eva. The two dogs LOVE running around the farm, getting into water, and getting very muddy! Kathryn pretty much does the same.
The Lawrences met in Fort Walton Beach, Florida in 2005. For that reason, the farm was named "Fort Lawrence."

Fort Lawrence is nestled on nearly 100 acres in northern Nash County, NC. Most of the farm is wooded and contains trails for pleasure riding.
There are three barns, all built by the Lawrences and Family. The main barn was built to have 18 stalls; however, when Dave realized how many horses Stephanie might buy to fill the stalls, he quickly put a halt to the finish out process. To that end, there are 11 stalls in the horse barn. The horse barn measures 54' x 72'. The lower barn is a 40' x 36' hay barn, which houses the hay grown at Fort Lawrence. The little barn is a 12' x 24' hay barn and it's situated in the 10 acre hay field. We have a lighted 60' permanent round pen just outside of the main barn. Additionally, we have a permanent riding arena. It is 120' x 240'. There is a water hole north of the homesite that we enjoy riding the horses through during warm weather. The pond on the northeast corner of the farm that supposedly has nice-sized fish. We haven't caught any. Additionally, there are over 3 miles of trails on the farm |
