3/6 - Blue and Nick arrived back at Fort Lawrence, after spending nearly a year and a half with a friend who used them to lead military servicemembers and children around. Kathryn was very excited to have them home and wanted to sit on them in their stalls. :)
3/5 - Whooo HOO!! Lessons started back today and our instructor, Cynthia, had her hands full with a large group lesson! So great to see everyone!
3/3 - 3/5 - After a couple of weeks of evening and weekend work, Stephanie presented "Beatle" at the Hopping into Spring Horse Show in Williamston. The two learned a lot from one another and look forward to working on little pieces at home. The team brought home 3 first place ribbons and 2 second place ribbons in the five classes they entered.
2/19 - We enjoyed our time riding to and with Skinner Hill Farm.
2/11 - Stephanie and Beatle are home and under way!
2/2 - Stephanie selected a show horse named "Beatle" from a renowned Saddlebred trainer, Kathryn Taylor. Beatle made the trip from his show home in Alabama to Landon Farm in Greensboro, NC. That's where Kathryn and team prepped him for Stephanie.
1/28 - Kathryn, Dave, Toby, and Stephanie rode with some of the Skinner Hill Farm horses to Mark and Aimee's house.
1/21 - After riding lesson, Stephanie took some of the students on a trail ride to Skinner Hill Farm.
1/16 - Victoria and Emily had a good time riding "Sparky" in lessons!
1/7 - Kathryn and Ava enjoyed riding Holli in the round pen and then Ava learned to lead Brass.
1/2 - I hauled the drafts to a friend's place to hook them with a collar and hames. Berry was fantastic and pulled the wagon with confidence!
1/1 - After a great lunch with Mom, some of us (and a couple of friends) came back to the farm for an afternoon of trail riding.
